I’m a traveling IT guy and decided to choose the Microtel because of the great price I ended up staying 4 nights and was quite impressed I usually stay in a more expensive hotel in the Quincy area but will be staying at the Microtel again on my next visit

The staff was friendly and very helpful with selecting a place for dinner I managed to find good food close by!The room was clean and ready for me on arrival The bed was comfortable and the Hotel was as quiet as a mouse during the night I have ZERO complaints Overall a great stay and a great value I’ll see you guys again soon!

I came to Quincy for an event I was hoping to stay close to the Oakley Lindsay center This was really close! I actually walked there without any issues

This hotel had a great rate when everyone at the time was much higher The room was clean and the heater worked amazingly well considering how cold it was outsideThe employees were helpful and gave me extra towels when I requested They did have a breakfast, the waffles were great! I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family

Tried staying as a walk in I am a rewards elite member Fda at evening tried to over quote my rate

Jacked walk-in rate 40 bucks over online rate thru ihg Walked out and would not recommend The reason I didn’t book an online reservation was I realized after viewing the pet policy that it was not a good fit I also did not like his attitude, and I overheard him tell another guest that you had a high school team staying there on different floors I have experience with these guests and I know that SOMETIMES , they are difficult to control and I wanted to get a good nights sleep I am sure your property is lovely, clean, and amenity filled, however as with most business encounters, the first impression is what counts for me Your fda did not give off a good first impression As for the rate, if your are still using the same system from 3 years ago and i am sure you are, we both know the agent has the opportunity to override the rate You may have a rule against it, but they do have the ability to do it if necessary I didn’t intend to discourage others from staying, however the items mentioned are true I am sure I would have been more appreciative had another agent had been at the desk, with a smile, and if I hadn’t had a pet with me Again your property looks very nice, clean and inviting Your front desk agent was not I apologize for commenting would not recommend- in fact I would highly recommend, I am sure you will address the issue and hopefully additional courtesy training with this particular fd A smile makes a huge difference Thanks for your response so that I could clarify my review

Good utilities but water pressure is over 100 psi so use a regulator They do tell you this up front though Very quiet neighborhood

Looks like many live in’s but they are nice looking rigs There is a crazy mail lady that seems to have a lead foot though Its kinda funny watching her though, but watch your kids We stayed one night but the town seems interesting enough to stay two RV GPS took us a rough way here but did not take us under the low viaduct that the campground says to avoid Online reservations are easy and the way they prefer

Sandra Collins

Place is under new ownership and can tell by the amount of live in campers and lack of personal communication We use this campsite 2 to 3 times a year to come and visit family, but trying to find a spot that will fit our large camper is hard to do, when workers with smaller campers are taking the larger sites Previous owners would have never let that happen

Pool is clean, do not use shower house or laundry facilities so do not know what they look like Such a beautiful small camping area going to workers instead of family vacations

Willie Moore

We were very impressed one of the nicest well kept campgrounds we stayed at this last week…Very nice helpful owner helped us book a site at the last minute…Lots of full concrete sites A+ Very clean well maintained pool and laundry and showers are well maintained all this while they are under a renovation of the property…Will definitely stay here again!

The location was really nice because it’s very quiet around the hotel There’s not a lot of traffic or businesses but it’s still only 10 minutes or less from the heart of the town The reservation person was really nice

Originally contacted them because the hotel I was going to get had warnings that they don’t rent to local people And then I saw stuff for reviews also so I figured I didn’t want a chance even though it wasn’t local going somewhere where they could change their mind and not let you stay So I called the town and country and they were so helpful and nice and got me a really nice room The beds had lots of pillows the tiny kind but I’d say the mattress was only average The room was really clean and it hadn’t been refrigerator in it and the TV set was huge and easy to watch The breakfast was pretty good especially coming off of pandemic for most places didn’t have much And the lady attending the breakfast room was also very kind Here’s a nice clean place that had pretty much everything you needed The shower tub had shampoo and soap in it and there was a little small bottle of lotion by the sink but if you use conditioner make sure you pack it they wouldn’t have any there for those of you that have long hair that needs that Dale said a swimming pool and a weight room The swimming pool is kind of tiny but it would have been diced to some little laps and the jacuzzi was warm but not super hot We rented a Jacuzzi room in the water came super hot out of that and it was very relaxing

My wife is very picky when it comes to places she likes to stay and this is our second stay of 3 nights and planning a third The front desk’s experienced personnel with attention to your comfort make your stay very relaxing The grounds are immaculate, the breakfast was very good, all the facilities were in great working order and appearance

I don’t normally do reviews but when a hotel and it’s staff provide this high level value, it’s worth a review

Hanns Ullrich

Rooms were very nice, and probably one of the nicest Hotels in Quincy Location is remote so it’s quite But it is a bot out of the way

Only real downside is that, in mid 2022, they are still not making up rooms After 4 days I had to take out my own garbageI get the Covid protocol but it would have been nice to be informed of this upon check-in

We’ve stayed here a few times over the years and it’s always a great hotel Very friendly and helpful staff Always clean and well kept

The indoor/outdoor pool and the spa area is a great place to relax or for kids to play My kids especially enjoy the novelty of being able to swim outside on cold winter days They do have adult swim hours and a bar area for those who enjoy that kind of thing Continental breakfast had many options, was well stocked and the area was clean

LOVE the decor! Everything about it was cool & themed! Very homey & woodland! Absolutely loved the indoor pool area that has open access to the outdoor pool! Very cool Cathy at the front desk was so friendly & accommodating! The rooms were large sized, had an awesome comfy suede lounge chair & the beds were soft! Everything felt clean and the environment was great! The breakfast was good & fresh! Good variety! The location of the hotel was safe & warming I personally liked looking out my window and seeing wooded area! We would come again & can’t wait to visit the other locations! New favorite place to stay! Thanks

The service at the front desk during check-in was exceptional! I believe her name is Kathi She was super friendly and very accommodating It was a busy weekend with birthday parties and prom, she gave us a room as far from the noise as she could

Every staff member we encountered here couldn’t have been better In all my life, I’ve never left a review for a hotel, but really, the service we experienced was great We were travelling with 3 adult children, so we opted for a suite

Most “suites” these days consist of a room with a fold out couch This suite is really what I think of for a suite, it has a small kitchen, sitting room and a separate bedroom The room was perfect for our needsAnother thing that can be difficult to find is that instead of carpet, the room we stayed in had faux hardwood flooring This is INCREDIBLY helpful for people with allergies, so kudos for Quality Inn & Suites in Quincy for being forward thinking when they remodeled the roomsOkay, so the outside of the building and the decor isn’t going to trick you into thinking you’re staying at a 4 star resort But the beds and bedding are super comfy The front desk staff was so friendly about our special requests, as was the housekeeping staff I’m just kind of blown away that what I expected would be just another typical stay was so pleasant The front desk and housekeeping staff I encountered here should be trainers for other hotels This is how you do it Quality Inn & Suites in Quincy, you deserve all the praise you’ve received in your reviews Well done

The people at the front were extremely helpful and kind Shout out to Morgan… who remembered our names when we checked in

that we called in the am to keep our party’s group together and was so kind!!! Also… to the amazing young lady who helped us find a local pizza place and went above and beyond to print up the menu!!! We will stay again!! Also… the breakfast was wonderful hot and the hotel was super clean!! You guys did a great job!!!! So appreciative!!!

Cassie Brown

We stayed a total of two nights The staff was super sweet and helpful Even went as far as getting milk out of the kitchen for me to give to my toddlers before their bedtime because we forgot to pick some up lol

Breakfast was yummy and my kids loved the pool!! I’ve already booked our next stay as we’ll be down every other weekend for the next few months This is where we will stay every time we visit Quincy from now on!

Sharing is caring!
