The people are amazing Everyone was so friendly and responsiveI was a little concerned when I got there and they were hiring a housekeeper, but the place was really clean

I would have given it a 5 star, but the bed and pillows weren’t very comfortable so my rest wasn’t the greatest Otherwise for the cost, the experience was great and I would stay there again

Tootie Norris

There was blonde hair on the top sheet so I didn’t use it but somehow I have these swollen red bumps on me that looks like bedbug bites The tub and sink waters didn’t drain too good and as soon as I could fall asleep some kids pulled the fire alarm so we had to evacuate the building Check in was okay and the lady was friendly but that’s about all the good that came from here

Had I not been traveling and restless, I would’ve been elsewhere!!!!

Hands down the worst hotel experience Stayed two nights Our specific room, 223 smelled horrible – damp, musty, sour, mold

We could not figure out what was causing it We left the windows open all day long the next day and although the smell got slightly better, was still very noticeable After dealing with it the first night, we asked if we could switch rooms The smell was causing headaches and triggering allergy symptoms We were told they were sold out and there weren’t any other options The night staff was very apologetic and said they would leave a note for the manager to give us a discount Left the windows open overnight and sucked it up because we had no were else to go Spoke to the manager the next morning and although she thanked us for letting her know about it, did not issue any sort of discount for how disgusting our experience was I also overheard a housekeeper say that room 221 also smelled horrible Crazy they would rent out a room if they knew how badly it smelled The staff was not rude to us but the room was so gross

Izac Adams

Nice old house, with a very happy, enthusiastic and knowledgeable house manager, Sioux Accommodations were good, but in an old house you, of course, have the occasional less than ideal situation Would have liked a softer bed, but then people would probably complain about the soft beds! Overall, happy with the 2 night stay

House stayed cool in summer and Red Wing had lots for us to do

Jason Peabody

We stayed for 2 days for our 10th anniversary The room was very clean and nice, and the breakfasts were exceptional! Sioux is a very good hostess, and we enjoyed our stayRed Wing has many activities to enjoy, and we are looking forward to staying here again

Kyle Arvila

Owner was friendly enough but seemed to have a bit too much to do Breakfast was delicious but the portions were so small it didn’t feel like a meal Not much in the way of complementary food/beverages for the price and considering other BNBs offer entire free bottles of wine, etc

Room was great though, and had a whirlpool tub! Would stay again but we will probably explore others first

The customer service was terrible, I had a confirmation that I booked 2 nightsAnd they didn’t inform me that it was only one night when I checked in We left early that morning around 9:30 am before checkout and they moved all our stuff to the front desk before letting me know

Then they gave me the run around about how I only had one night reserved but I had 2 Then I asked for a discount on the second night but they wouldn’t budge I ended up booking a second night and they asked me to move up stairs because we booked the last handicap room downstairs Idk I think they need to get their booking system under control because it was a whole mess and I wouldn’t stay here again Especially after travelling 24 hours from Canada

This Lodge is beautifully designed, and the staff went about and beyond to make us feel comfortable and like family! We came all the way from Louisiana, and the owners and staff helped us out so much! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else now! It became almost as a second family for us! There is also 22 acres of hiking trails to walk through, breakfast, hot showers that never get cold, and beautiful rooms! If you are going through Ellsworth, Wisconsin you need to stop and experience this gorgeous family owned Lodge! I will be back very soon! 5 STARS!! ⭐

Jess Robley

This little gem, just west of town, is worth your stay The staff was friendly and helpful We were impressed by the quality of the room, with nice comfortable beds

Even with covid, they were able to still provide a breakfast (single serving coffee, cereal, granola bars, and Danish) Price was about $100; it was Saturday night I don’t know if that was a weekend rate Drive up motel style, all kept up to date You won’t be disappointed

Great place for me and my wife to relax and enjoy each other’s company We stayed in the willow room and loved it, but the whole house is wonderful Luxurious and heartwarming

Plenty of charm without distractionsBreakfast was fantastic and I enjoyed some light-hearted yet sincere conversation We had fun exploring the barn and learning about its history The owners made sure we felt welcomed and at ease and were knowledgeable about dining and activities in the area Beautiful area with plenty to see and do!I highly recommend them if you need to relax, have a good time, and escape the worries of the world

J B

If you enjoy history, this is the spot for you The house and round barn are beautifully preserved, and the hosts have lots of information available to learn about it The rooms were well-appointed and clean

The hosts put alot of thought into every detail which made our stay very comfortable The baths had instant hot water, the coffee/tea bar was well stocked, and there was a fridge to put our dinner leftovers in Breakfast was top-notch We stayed during off-peak season- I can imagine how lovely the grounds must be in the summer Historic Red Wing is a 5 minute drive away We would definitely visit again

Catherine Day

Our wedding was at Round Barn farm earlier this month! It was absolutely perfect – all our friends and family shared how stunning the property was from the ceremony spot, pavilion, and mostly, the Round Barn itself! Not only is the venue gorgeous, the entire staff (including the owners, Kirk & Wendy) are helpful, professional, and knows what they are doing to make your day run smoothly and feel incredibly special We, along with our parents and grandparents, stayed the night at the B&B, which is quaint and comfortable 10/10 would recommend for you wedding venue

We will be returning to stay in the B&B!

Not ready for prime time Staying here was like a comedy of errors First the sofa bed springs were broken

No linens for the sofa bed in the room The facility smells like deodorizer The blankets are nubby, thin acrylic There are holes in the shower wall The heat is either on or off – no thermostat When we tried to open the ground floor window to cool off No screen The clock radio is there on the nightstand but no outlet to plug into We switched rooms This room had an outlet for the clock Things were looking up But alas, the lock on the door does not work No way to lock the room behind you when you leave Back to the original room where they rigged the springs When we woke up, the spring was on the floor Sigh There was an MJ party somewhere, as the hallways were hazy We could not get out of there fast enough They may be investing in this facility as there were flooring product boxes stacked in the lobby, but until they bring this place up to speed, steer clear

Janet Jean

Towels, what two there were, were threadbare and rough I used cash and had to pay an extra $5000 because I did

When I checked out the front desk tried saying I used a card, then it went to I only paid 4000 I finally got my deposit back Make sure your receipt has the deposit written on it Noise from the next room was obnoxiously loud so after 10:00 pm we asked them to turn it down 3 times, asked the front desk to have them quiet down, I finally called the police department and then they turned it down and slammed their door I don’t recommend this place and I will never stay in that god awful place again

Opichi Barber

Beware! The picture shown is NOT the actual motel! Its in the underbelly of Red Wing and its filthy and gross! We were scammed and forced to stay at this motel through Priceline and they didnt care that it was horrid and refused to do the right thing and give us a refund and put us in a decent hotel like they were suppose to in the first place! Never again for the motel and definitely never Priceline!

Launch out of everts resort all the time to fish the river always a great place and friendly staff Finally had the opportunity to stay in a cabin for 3 days cabin 2 was a nice little cabin was spotless when we arrived staff was super friendly and the view of the river was great just as the fishing always is on the Mississippi! Cabin had a fire pit outside a grill comes with a full kitchen stocked with pots and pans and silverware definitely made the trip easy and is honestly cheaper then a hotel at the end of the day! Highly recommend renting a cabin for a summer vacation for boating enjoying the water and sand beaches or if your looking todo some serious fishing it can accommodate all your needs as the options are endless at this beautiful location great sunrises and sunset views as well!

Josh Simer

The building is great inside and out The decor in both common and bedroom areas is tasteful The rooms are well maintained and up to date – no TV, but that is an intentional choice

Breakfast was outstanding First, the dining room is well maintained and attractively furnished As for the food, clearly they pay a lot of attention to it Great mix of flavors, presentation was excellent, ingredients seemed to be high quality, and the service was prompt and friendlyVery impressed Would definitely go back again

Kaela Rustad

This B and B is absolutely gorgeous! The house is stunning and the décor/furnishings match with the time period of the home We loved hanging out on the front porch and the close proximity to downtown I have food allergies and the owners/chef did a great job accommodating me and served a delicious breakfast

The reason for 4 stars is that our first night the AC in our room was sputtering on and off and it kept us from sleeping In the morning we checked the filters and it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned in sometime It was an easy fix, but avoidable if regular cleaning had been done

Trina Sandlie

I’m giving this B&B 2 stars because the house was nice and the bed was super comfortable The innkeeper was

challenging She told us the breakfast was served from 8-9 (on weekdays) I had to work remote so I asked if I could take breakfast in the room Her response was “We don’t allow hot breakfast in the rooms because of the antiques” There are so many other ways she could have handled this request and chose not to I explained I was working remote and had meetings from 8-9 (thinking she would off a granola bar or banana or something?) and she just repeated the sentence about not allowing “hot breakfast” in the room I’ve stayed at hotels and B&Bs all over and never ruined anything by eating in the room or even heard of that being a “thing” I ended up shoveling in breakfast and being 10 minutes late to my meeting Our friends had a similar experience around the arrival time with her It’s their story to share but suffice it to say that when you put in your arrival time it’s not an estimate and whoa to those who aren’t “on time” The inn keeper makes this place a hard pass

Top notch service as always! Very friendly and helpful staff! Our kids had such a great time at the kids quest that even after 2 hours they really didn’t want to leave! Was sad to see the beverage stations gone, but relived to find out complimentary pop was still offered at the bar Also noticed employees walking around taking drink requests I think these were smart ideas

We had a great time on the machines! Wish we could’ve stayed longer 🙂 can’t wait to return! We did miss the buffet, but I thought I saw it was opening again soon?

Linda Currid

Front desk was very accommodating and rooms were very nice! Pool not open until 4:00 PM? Not sure what’s the point of having a pool, especially on the weekends if you can’t use it all day Our kids were ramped up for the water park and pool and we didn’t even get a chance to use it! We had over 100 guests at this hotel for a wedding $14

95 for a pool pass? We did end up getting player’s cards to cover our pool expense, but not sure why we were charged a $10 resort fee for each day We loved the fact there was a coffee bar in the lobby, but it was NEVER open! We did get coffee on the casino floor but took over an hour Thankfully all of your staff great and customer service was A+

Samantha Meidl

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR TRANSPORTATION SERVICE FOR YOUR NEXT EVENT!!! Treasure Island Resort & Casino went out of their way to make sure all our wedding guests were taken care of! With 300+ wedding guests they helped us with a last minute reservation and made us feel like their guests Kristi, the lead shuttle driver, specifically made sure that every guest got to and from our wedding safely Reliable, responsive, timely, clean transportation, and kind hearted drivers– we are so grateful we were able to work with Kristi and her team

She brought calmness to a stressful day She made sure guests arrived before the ceremony and picked up the last guests late at the end of the night Professional and personable, we appreciate Kristi’s hard work, making our wedding day extra memorable! Worth EVERY penny if you have a wedding near TI

Tim Young

I ended up paying for three nights at the Days Inn of Red Wing, MN for some friends Those friends were going through a hard time, which rolled over a bit onto the hotel I ended up with a few interactions with the hotel staff, and I was incredibly impressed with them

I really appreciated how they handled some tough situations, giving grace where they could, but looking out for all the other hotel guests I usually do my review about the state of the rooms, or the like, but I want to give a shout-out to some truly awesome hotel staff who care about doing an excellent job, while also caring a lot about the people who pass through their establishment I was very impressed, and will certainly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place to stay

Kaylee Mckinney

Staff was very kind and hospitable but the estate of the motel room was it’s downfallUpon entering the room your nose was immediately assaulted with a very bad smell Due to Covid they only have house cleaners 2 times a week and it definitely shows

Walls&doors were nasty, pipes sticking out of the carpet, trim missing, shower was grimy and the paint on the floor was bubbling and peeling while trying to take a shower, the shower hardwear was covered in gunk, water to the toilet was shut off and when we turned it on the valve had a very steady leak, there was a dead fly on the ac dispite it being the middle of winter, ac was also very noticeably dirty, WIFI is free but good luck connecting to it(only place it was in the office) and the lot it’s self was very poorly plowed and there was ice through out the lot and a thick patch of very slippery ice on the wheelchair accessible ramp presenting a very big fall risk

Erika Hennen

It’s midnight we just checked in after watching Fluffy at Treasure Island and have already checked out We are now going to drive the 3 hours home instead of spending the night The room smelled, there were cobwebs and dead bugs, cracked floor tile, stained/dirty sheets

When we went to talk to the person on duty they just shrugged their shoulders If I could give a 0 star I would I hope they are closed for good soon

Sharing is caring!
