The hotel itself is great! Everyone at the front desk was really nice! The only complaint we had was that the shuttle driver was not a great driver at all- he drove real slow, changed lanes recklessly, cared more about the radio station rather than getting all of us back to the hotel When he came back to pick us up from the wedding venue (which he was very late), he told us all that he hated us and then said he was kidding, but it wasn’t professional to say anywayAgain, the hotel was great! Comfortable beds, complimentary breakfast and kind staff

I would just avoid the shuttle if possible

ZERO STARS! Both pillows had BLOOD 🩸🩸🩸 on them! We’re not talking about hair on towels We’re talking about biohazard ☣️☣️☣️☣️☣️ Human pathogen! This is beyond unacceptable, even in “normal” times, let alone during a pandemic

I told the front desk and the lady didn’t care She said what do you want me to do about it, I don’t have another room! I had to sleep in my car and they wouldn’t refund anything NEVER STAY HERE!!! 🛑

This review is based on my experience staying one time, for two nightsWe enjoyed our stay We love that it’s pet friendly The bed was comfortable

The breakfast was just okay The staff was very nice We would/will stay there againThe sofa was a bit worn and uncomfortable to sit on A fridge was placed in the closet that used to have a door The click and lock flooring is very cheap, but maybe by design since they allow pets

Lisa Zhu

The staff is really nice, the lobby has plenty of space for hanging out with friends The breakfast shop offerings are affordable and look great The only big problem I have is with how little sound proofing the rooms have

For the whole night I was listening to bathroom flushes in the adjacent rooms And starting from about 6am I started hearing banging of doors because of how the room doors are designed to slam, very loudly, especially through thin walls Then the vaccuming in the hallway started around 7am I get it, it’s not a 5-star luxury hotel, but I think some little things can improve to make the stay more enjoyable

Lewis Kay

The staff was nice, but I cannot say the same about our stay We had adjoining rooms and both were horrible!! Mold was in the ceilings and there was a stench of sewage The couches were soiled, food was on the wall, and the headboards, bed skirts and sheets were all dirty

The sinks were slow to drain, feces was on the toilet and the shower doors would not stay closedAnts were crawling between our beds, on the bathroom walls and floors, which were also spacing Housekeeping did not change our linen while we were away, as requested, and because of the issues we kept encountering, they switched our room 3 times My children and I were very displeased by the upkeep of this hotel property and opted to end our getaway However, there is a $50 early departure fee, totaling $100 for both rooms As for customer service: After submitting a complaint and photos of our stay, a representative’s email stated it was “hard to get in touch with me due the time difference” No one has followed up with me since

Standout staff Accommodating and truly kind Rooms were fine, although both rooms I stayed in had issues with shower temp and water pressure, and multiple common areas like the bar and restaurant were under renovation

They did their best Overall this is an outstanding property under renovation to keep up the standard of service you expect from their brand A great place to stay The attached Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse is a game changer

minghao liu

I’ve been to at least 10 Renaissance hotels around the world, and this is easily the worst Renaissance hotel I’ve lived at The service was terrible There was no hairdryer when we checked in, and when I tried to call the front desk, nobody answered, so I had to come to the reception

Also, they weren’t able to provide any slippersThe buildings are quite old, and due to renovation, only half the amenities are open Sound insulation is terrible We were hearing constant door slamming and children screaming, despite us staying in a CORNER ROOM! We got woken up before 7AM on both days we stayed there The shower has very low water pressure, and it takes half an hour to do a “quick” shower There’s also no access control for the elevators, which means non hotel guests can get to any floor they want Fortunately, this neighborhood is relatively safe, so this won’t pose too much of a security riskThe only upside is the price We booked two nights for $135/night, after taxes and fees, which is a good deal for the Chicago area around the memorial weekend However, with the problems mentioned above, this hotel isn’t worth the price

CATALYTIC CONVERTER THEFT: We stayed here for a wedding and the room was very nice and clean However, our car, parked in the hotel lot had its catalytic converter stolen overnight Unfortunately, there are no cameras on the parking lots so the police couldn’t do anything

The GM returned my voicemail and did comp our room which was very appreciated (but not much to offset the cost of a new catalytic converter) The theft of catalytic converters is not unique to this hotel, but its proximity to 94 definitely makes it a target I personally feel like putting in cameras is an important step the hotel should take A Marriott should provide some level of security I’m a student and this financial loss is not easily absorbed Just be aware!

Service was fine, and the cleanliness and sleep quality was fine as well, but this place gives off the vibes of an old hotel that has been given a fresh coat of paint, and some issues have seeped through the cracks Don’t pick this hotel if you’re looking for a classic family vacation destination, as there is no pool and no complimentary breakfast (But you can pay for breakfast items at the onsite cafe or use the fitness center that seems to have replaced what was a pool area

) Some small complaints are the lack of microwaves in the rooms and the mowing starting at 8:30am Monday morning The most inconvenient part of our stay was the poor quality of the mini fridge Not only was it impressively small, but it barely generated its own cold We had to put a bag of ice in there with our food to make sure it wouldn’t go bad, which was inconvenient due to the aforementioned lack of space

William Scruggs

Fam stayed here for couple nights Remodeled in September On going into room picked up hand towel to dry face and saw somebody had used it as buttwipe/TP

Immediately brought it up to front desk where they continually apologizedAfter kid saw towel and pulled a face they told us they would add points to account Still haven’t seen points or heard back since checkout

Jody Britton

First time staying in this location The hotel is beautiful, it’s clean and it’s quiet, but by far the friendliest front desk staff I have experienced to date Main reason for the review and will definitely be back

Chantil has been here every night, has greeted us, made conversation with us, remembers us and is just an all around pleasant person

Loved it We came to Navy graduation, and this hotel is just close enough, without being stuck in the city Awesome staff, quick check in, great rooms with very good matresses

Everything super clean! We did come during some type of competition for cheerleading, so hotel was super busy at the lobby, but the staff still made time and helped us Super awesome crew!

marina bograd

The staff was great and space was plentifulAnd that’s itCleanliness was an issue The hotel appears worn out and neglected

Wall paper is peeling off the walls Glass doors and window appear like they haven’t been washed on weeks and floors were sticky (including the rug in the room)The space has potential to become an amazing venue Hope someone notices

Such a gem! from the old world structure to the beautiful interior

The English Room experience was terrific and the food superb! We sat near the garden and loved looking at the courtyardWe peeked in at the White Hart Pub which will be our next more casual venturereminiscent of an old Irish pub, very dark and cozyWill definitely be back for the brunch experience that so many have raved about

Mathew Jenkins

I live close to the Deer Path Inn so I have no need to use their Hotel, though it is regarded as the nicest place in town which is no secret amongst locals However, their food, drinks, and service are on a completely different level I have eaten there a dozen or so times (in person and take out) and have yet to have anything less than a stellar meal/service

Their basement bar is my favorite place in town since the original Lovell’s closed (which had a similar basement-bar vibe) though the White Hart Pub is nice as well The Hot-A$$ Chicken Sliders and the Burger never disappoint! Also, the ENTIRE staff makes everyone feel important You’ll be greeted with a smile by everyone you interact with The building and grounds are beautiful, clean, and inspiring The only problem can be getting a table but that’s to be expected when you deliver like the DPI does!

Julius Foust

This hidden gem is amazing The ambiance, the service, the great food and drinks, it has easily become one of my new favorites Artemio, a veteran employee, is amazing person, he explained the history of the Deerpath, the menu, the food options and much more, his service was splendid and highly professional

I recommend this place to anyone, regardless if you eat in the English Room or the White Hart Pub, you cannot go wrong Thank you guys, I have a reservation for tomorrow and I am so looking forward to it

Had an extended stay at this residence inn, the staff were all wonderful, friendly and accommodating I’d like to specifically mention Miriam the breakfast host- she was a highlight of my stay! Always so friendly, kind and thoughtful She clearly put so much love into her work and it shows

She made my mornings a little brighter! I would recommend this hotel to anyone, not only for cleanliness but for superior hospitality

Brianna Drevlow

I have been staying at this location weekly since January 2022 The staff has been nothing short of incredible and welcoming In particular, the night lead, Jared, has been very kind and thoughtful, ensuring my stay is the best it can be

He even goes the extra step to include things like extra water and towels, upgrades when possible, and evening putting out my favorite candy in the front desk candy dish when I am there! The rooms are very clean, the property is well-kept, and the breakfast areas are safely maintained While I initially chose to stay there due to it being close to my work location, I now regularly go back there because they truly take care of me I recommend staying here if you are in need of a long-term stay option!

Dee Humphrey

Quality hotel What truly makes this a 5/5 stay verus any other Marriott hotel is the INCREDIBLE staff In particular, Miriam (the breakfast host/chef) has the best hospitality and kindest soul Some mornings I would arrive after the breakfast was closed from an overnight shift at the hospital and she would save me a breakfast sandwich in a bag to make sure I didn’t miss out

She is something special!!

Went here for an Amazon interview, beautiful place Seems like an amazing place to stay I never stayed here but it would be on my bucket list

To stay at an double tree by HiltonSuper cleanA lot of parking space, an couple of restaurants and gas stations are close by

Jessica Stallings

This specific hotel itself was great Stuff happens and things break My room was almost $250 for my kids and I

This was supposed to be a special experience and memory for them as it was their first competition They are young Didn’t need to purchase a hotel room we don’t live that far but wanted them to be well rested Both AC units could not keep up with the room It happens I didn’t make a big deal about it because I work outside for the most part all year round Was still trying to make it a positive, memorable experience for my two Littles Maintenance couldn’t come till 9pm The room on both sides were close to 80 Staff and management were kind, respectful, and did what they can Hilton however, their customer service was incompetent, unprofessional, and wasted my time The hotel itself has no way to help in this situation after you leave because the advance payment was through Hilton DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE OR THROUGH HILTON Pay Doubletree if possible

Sandra Revnell

The room was on the small side but clean Generally speaking, the décor of the hotel is both drab and dated The hotel appeared short-staffed, with only one person attending the front desk

As a result, all attempts to call the front desk were in vain – they went unanswered If you need to stay here, use the app and digital key to check-in — you will wait at the front desk for far too long to get a room key

We had the honor of planning our wedding and reception at Lincolnshire Marriott Resort What a beautiful venue and location, and the amenities offered are just so wonderful too! Our wedding had been affected by COVID, as I am sure many are/had been Kassandra, the general manager, and Christine, our wedding specialist, were so accommodating and generous with their time and resources

There are so many wonderful things I would like to share about them and how amazing they have been in this process! This has been such a whirlwind trying to figure everything out, and they have been nothing but helpful and accommodating to ensure our happiness for our special day Not only did they each reach out to us individually to see if we needed anything, but collectively as the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort Team I highly recommend this venue not only for the beautiful location and property, but also for the experience of working with such amazing staff members! From the time we walked into the front door until we left the parking lot, each member was so kind and helpful! What an amazing staff and venue for a wedding or event! Special shout out goes to Christine, she is literally one of the best human beings out there She was so gracious, kind and honest which is exactly what we neededLincolnshire Marriott, thank you for helping us out when this crazy season and circumstances has hit us all!

Austin Pilkinton

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful I had a room option that gave me an upgraded room since I had my wife, our son, two dogs, and myself We were up for the renaissance fair that was going on in Wisconsin

I was offered a room on the first floor with a patio which helped significantly with the dogs I really appreciate the offer, but was not informed that it was going to be smaller than the bigger room i was upgraded to As an individual who travels and stays with Marriott almost every week, i was a little disappointed in the M Club You are told that when you arrive that it will not be operating to full capacity as it would be during the week Also when we informed the front desk about there not being water, they said they would not be restocking it because it was not operating at full capacity Even the other refreshments such in the refrigerators were not stocked and maintained I have stayed at other Marriott’s with M clubs stock constantly and way better than this one was

M 1

I booked a stay in advance with a group rate for a large event that was taking place on site As I was preparing for the event I checked for my confirmation and found that I no longer had it in my email, my fault for not printing it out I contacted the resort to confirm and found they did not have a reservation in my name

I talked with multiple people both at the resort and with Marriott All were happy to book a room for $499 per night vs the original rate of $159 and would not budge on honoring the original rate It was also suggested by multiple people that if the group were to add an additional block of rooms for the event they could then honor the $159 rate While talking with the sales department at the resort about the group, the reservation and honoring the rate I was told the the resort was sold out for my dates and they would be unable to help me any further So in a matter of 30 minutes they went from having enough rooms to add to the group block to being completely sold out I also find it odd that after getting off the phone there were still many rooms available on any number of web sites

I would have given 5 stars for room, but I must be honest about some finishes in the bathroom A little tired, but overall, such a pleasant stay and worth the extra to stay The evening reception was laid back and had a terrific bartender

The other bartender in the restaurant was also fantastic, giving us a tip in a local Chicago style pizza place The breakfast was superb, and the made to order omelettes along with the service everywhere were unmatched! Great job in staffing and keeping up with the needs of your customers

Abdul Riaz

I was pretty excited to see a quiet place It has amazing indoor view I enjoyed breakfast: it has various options

Staff was friendly Erving time snack was a good option Little issue with room and restroom plumbing but overall I have a great leisure trip with my family It was quite and adequate during night time Elevator has secure operating option I recommend it for family and friends

Crystal Vang

Nice hotel and good location Quiet area, and friendly staff Family friendly hotel, free breakfast omelet made to order, free drinks during happy hour! Pool is okay, but can be busy, which makes it difficult to swim or play, wish it was bigger for such a large hotel! Walls are thin in the suites, living area, no door sweeper, and you can hear basically anyone walking by the hall

Overall good experience and for the deal we received it was great Spacious living space and bedroom (2 queen beds, two TV, a couch and desk/chair and single swivel sofa chair, wet bar sink and microwave/fridge/coffee keurig, plenty of drawers for clothes)

Check in and staff was great Free bottled water at check They helped us with an early check in for one of our rooms, which was great

But, once we got into the room, the 1st room had a pile of long strands of hair sitting right on A/C unit Our 2nd room had a dead bird that has been dead for quite a while right outside of the window and on the 2nd day, their was a bug (silverfish) on my bag when I woke up But, nice overall area, beds where comfortable and roomy

Everything from check in to check out was great!! The front staff clerk was extremely friendly The room was very spacious and clean Loved the accessible shower which made bathing the kids a whole lot easier

The beds were very comfy!!! The surrounding area was very nice and the hotel was not too far from things we needed The pool and hot tub were very nice, was a bit smaller than the other Hampton we stayed in but was still nice none the less We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here to stay again!! The entire hotel was so clean and smelled fresh which is a huge selling point for us

Katie Sweet

Hotel was great for the price range and family friendly Our initial room had a window leak and we were moved to the other Suite which was wonderful The staff also was really helpful each time our door cards failed for whatever reasons

The room itself was quiet even though it was right by an entry door Breakfast was great! The only thing was the pool area had a few really gross areas outside of the pool

Our company uses this hotel I have been here the last 3 nights I am leaving today Since day one I have notified the front desk that our shower does not get hot water and we need to change roomsThree different desk clerks have denied my request

their solution was telling me to run the water longer which did not resolve anything leaving us with 3 days of cold showers Our company will not be using this hotel moving forward
