Everything went smoothly checking in and out The staff was friendly and helpful It was clean and comfortable

I noticed the tub had a bath mat and a hand rail I appreciate this a lot Although it was just me this time, features like that make for a safe experience for elderly people like my parents who aren’t disabled but are at greater risk of falling Having features like this can make rooms with full disability accommodation more available for those that really need them

Jermaine Bartow

We booked this hotel for 6 nights The room was cleaned only 1 day during our stay The toilet wasn’t working and we saw a room attendant on the floor we were

I told her about the toilet, and she handed me a plunger to use I reported the room not getting clean and I was told that I have to request that the room be clean Even when I did that, it got cleaned 1 day The dehumidifier went out and the light came in that says -empty- I reported it and nothing was done Because the room was not cleaned we had no wash rags nor towels I had to use my undergarment as wash cloth It’s sad knowing how much we paid for our stay I’m never staying here again!

The good: The staff was amazing, everyone was so friendly and helpful Has a pool but it’s outsideThe bad: This hotel is very very old

Website said that rooms have fridge and microwave Our room had a tiny fridge with no microwave When we asked if we could get a microwave for our room we were told only about 30% of the rooms have them We had to go down the lobby from the 4th floor to warm up food The chairs had huge white spots on them so couldn’t sit at the desk to work The ice machine was broken so had to go to the first floor to get ice This hotel desperately needs maintenance and to be updated The breakfast wasn’t good The first day sausage and these weird tasting eggs Second day bacon and cheesy eggs they ran out of bacon If this wasn’t the hotel that the rest of our family was staying at we would have left immediately The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because of the staff

The hotel is nice Clean The staff was great, amenities were great as well

The problem is the Manager Kim will look for any way to charge you extra and unwilling to work with you I travel for work and have stayed at Holiday Inn’s for the past 2 years Other places have worked with me on rates and understood if I had to arrive late or leave early Not here Reading other reviews about the Manager, I’d have to believe them Our Company has decided not to use Holiday Inn any more, we have switched to Marriott, much nicer and the management really works with our company

Shazmin Gainer

The tub filled up while I was in the shower as if there is so much hair and gunk in the drain 🤮 ! The most nasty feeling ever having dirty water up to my toddlers legs! Towels had someones fine hair in them , had a cigarette smell in a nonsmoking room If I could’ve gotten a refund I would’ve! I’ve never been to a holiday inn Express in this condition inside the rooms , the lobby is the only nice area Check in was easy though

James Wernicke

A nice HIE with clean and comfortable rooms Good breakfast and of course those cinnamon rolls that my wife loves We were able to park our car and trailer where it was visible from the room which made us sleep better

There is a asian buffet and Cracker Barrel across the street The pool was not well decorated and very plain The biggest negative is the number of Holiday Inn Express labeled as Atlanta West I have had a similar problemwith a Hilton in Jackson MS and Jackson TN which caused me to go to the wrong hotel The wife left here phone charger when we left in the morning and we called and they had found it and we were able to pcik it up That was appreciated since iPhone chargers are pricey

Overall the stay was fine For a newer facility the rooms are showing wear already After checking in and going to my room I do my usual scan and noticed that my bathroom was not cleaned

Even though it had fresh towels the shower floor was dirty and there was something sticky on the floor I requested a new room and the hotel staff was nice and accommodated the change The next room was a little better but the shower was again dirty I was tired of lugging my things so I stayed in the room I was concerned about the petri dish light fixtures in the entrance but for one night I just dealt with it Ok for a quick stay but I wouldn’t bring my kids here

Lashana Reynolds

We booked a room for honeymoon night before our flight The day before my husband went to check on the room! They told him “someone” called & cancelled our reservations Funny thing is that no one knew about our reservations, WE didn’t call to cancel them, neither did we receive an email saying it was cancelled

They almost ruined our wedding night, the hotel themselves had cancelled our reservations because no one else had our reservation number but us & them I strongly recommend you to find somewhere else to stay than here, thank God my husband checked the day before, we were able to get us a room in Carrollton before our flight left in the morning to our honeymoon destination

Mr EverythingMan

First of all, Vince is the man! I’ve met a few interesting characters at hotels, some of which have even done some really nice things for us, but Vince goes above and beyond to ensure every guest is satisfied Our biggest issue as people who stay up late is housekeepers knocking on the door early in the morning Every hotel we stay at we ask for a late check-out and a Do Not Disturb

Every time they promise and assure us, but it still happens anyway, and it’s always someone different at the front desk in the morning anyway But Vince actually bet his job on it! He said if anyone knocked on our door before we were ready to Checkout, he would resign immediately Sure enough, for the first time ever, we slept in peace Vince was still there at noon after Checking us in at 11pm He even made us two fresh pots of coffee without us even having to ask! He single-handedly made our stay Other than that, the hotel itself is alright Very Simple They don’t even have a map because they don’t need to My only complaint with the room is the shower It took me a long time to figure out how to get the water from the fossil to the head And it kept switching back no matter which way I turned the knob It was also Scaulding hot and either way I twisted it just made it even hotter No cold water Otherwise, just what we needed

Ebone Cruz (The Entrepreneur Plug)

Great getaway and perfectly tucked away for a peaceful escape The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you’re comfortable We ate at the restaurant for dinner And it was delicious

Fresh to order and I’d say reasonable priced The pool lake view is breathtaking The rooms were extremely clean and very spacious We also had the opportunity of attending an event in the event hall and it was beautiful! Buffet style food but again delicious There are many things to do however I believe for members only because they didn’t have anything available to do when we were there But I did work outside near the pool with a cup of coffee and it was so peaceful It’s a great place for a family get away or even team building for employees The property is huge, you can enjoy great scenic walks and just soak in the calming ambiance

I stayed at Foxhall Resort for a company sales meeting / retreat in the spring of 2022 Very nice grounds with a cool breeze (at least in May) With lakes and over 1,000 acres too explore, I thoroughly enjoyed myself

We did skeet shooting and had a great time Three staff was wonderful and the good of high quality It was not crowded at all when I visited

brady pitts

My wife and I just had a wedding here and had a terrible experience It looks great online but that’s it They are very misleading, make empty promises, and are only after your money

The people are terrible here especially Stephanie the wedding coordinator (who reeked of smoke the entire day and stunk up the venue everywhere she went) We had several guests ask who she was and why she smelled so bad at our wedding She’s very unprofessional They change up their “rules” every week and charge money over the simplest of things I tried to leave a comment on their Instagram but they deleted it If you want your occasion to be run smooth pick somewhere else You will be charged for water here so please look around to get better bang for your buck elsewhere Will never come back here

I don’t usually give 1-star ratings, and it may not speak for this establishment in general but my experience was horrible Specifically, BED BUGS (see picture below) Over the past 10 years, my work has included about 90% travel

I’ve encountered bed bugs probably 3 times, however, I’ve never been eaten alive like the night before last Approximately 20 bites on my face, back, chest, arms, and legs If you’ve never had a bed bug experience, it causes HUGE, ITCHING, OOZING bumps around the bites It’s miserable And the itching and swelling usually takes about 12 hours to begin setting in I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy!Additionally, the smoke detector ‘chirped’ in my ear all night (dead battery) and the ironing board was filthy I tried to iron my pants and the iron smeared ‘black goo’ down the leg of my pants I’ve tried to contact the manager twice, but haven’t received a call back or any type of reimbursement for the inconvenience and what will most likely be a couple weeks of discomfort from the itching and swelling all over my body Next call will be made to Hilton corporate office Nobody should endure this experience!!

I stayed for my sons baseball tournament this past weekend When i arrived to check in, it was an absolute mess The front desk clerk was crying at the front desk, I also witnessed her yell at a kid about how she was going to call the cops on him, completely unprofessional

Management seems to let employees do whatever Other than that, my room was spotless and housekeeping was wonderful the next morning!

Janine Smith

Arrived in Carrollton at 1pm Thought it was a long shot but asked about checking in early She didn’t even check she just said no

Went to my son’s tournament and got back around 7pm to check in Police were there and their were angry guest in lobby Checked in, went up to my room, opened the door and there was a whole family in the room! She gave me the key to an occupied room! It took an hour to get a new room I booked a double queen but settled for a king to get a room While I was waiting the same thing happened to another guest checking in One guy got put out of his room and another lady was denied a room My TV was not hooked up, I would have called for assistance but my room didn’t have a phone (just a phone cord) No trash can in the room (just a tiny bathroom trash can) 1st and last time booking at Best Western

Jennifer Moore

The front desk clerk was great That’s the extent of good stars for this visitShe was Very polite

Room 205 was not clean The tub was visibly dirty as were the walls The tub drain is clogged so water stands in it while showering-yuck The TV did not work either I checked in around 7pm and by 6am I had tolerated as much as I could stand

It’s been over a week but I am still floored by the gross lack of service and disrespect at The Comfort Inn, I had to write this reviewAfter an incredibly long day (12+ hours) of travel in an old, moving truck on 6/3/22, we finally arrived at the hotel just after 4a The front door was open but the lobby doors were locked

We knocked, waited, eventually rang the main number and the front desk agent finally came out Our experience with this agent was horrendous; She……refused to open the doors to the lobby when we asked if I could use the restroom during the check-in process, despite us clearly being guests since we brought in luggage…accused of us speeding through the parking lot, even though we explained she probably just heard the engine revving loudly during normal acceleration of this older, moving truck Regardless, she threatened that we better not do it again…yelled at us for using the “wrong trashcan” (?) when we were throwing away trash that we found in the rental truck, and worst of all…… while I was in the bathroom, SHE CALLED THE POLICE ON US! When I asked her why, she said my bf was being belligerent I told her that we were tired and just trying to check in while she was making the process unnecessarily difficult I asked her to hang up the phone, as she knew clearly she was not in ANY danger whatsoever and that calling the police was ridiculous (not to mention potentially dangerous) She refused and at that point, I just asked my bf if we could go as I didn’t want to stay there anymore We got in the truck and sure enough, two police officers were there We explained to the officers what happened, and in minutes they let us go without incident, suggesting alternate places around the area where we might be able to get a room for the nightIf this is the training that the staff at the Comfort Inn undergoes to treat their guests, they’ve got something incredibly wrong This front desk clerk was rude, completely unempathetic and wasted police efforts and time on a non-emergency situation She also refused to identify herself when my bf asked for her name since she didn’t have on a name tag We took her picture so management could be clear about with whom we interacted and are ready to supply thatIt is upon my own diligence that I have written this review, however, my boyfriend is a passionate, former hospitality professional with more than 10 years in the industry I’m sure he will follow up, as these things often go unaddressed and we want to be sure the necessary parties see this reviewUse caution when booking here!

Hotel was clean The huge problem I had was that we didn’t use housekeeping or eat the breakfast, paid $312 for two nights, and was told Sunday morning that they didn’t have towels clean We had an event to go to at 7am and my family had no towels to shower

We were told at check in to come down to swap towels anytime I was offered 4 hand towels for 4 people to bathe Hotels should be more prepared Although the hotel was clean I won’t stay here again Just too costly to not be able to properly shower

Derek Stone

I personally was disappointed The room smelled like a converted smoking room I had to spritz cologne just to stand the smell in the room

The carpets felt grimy, so you may want to wear shoes or socks while in the room Breakfast area was small and lacking supplies This is more of a $70 a night place, but do t expect that It is conveniently located near restaurants and shoppping outlets

Amanda Baity

Stayed here while visiting family Hiram doesn’t have a large variety of hotels to choose from Was not impressed especially for the price we paid for 1 room

Not the cleanest small hotel I have been in but not the worst Staff was friendly Rooms need some updates, shower looked dirty, the ceilings were not clean, had to hold the handle down to completely flush the toilet which I know seems silly to mention but we paid $200 a night and I booked in advance

When I got fired from my job I walked here and applied for a job here as well I didn’t get to see the rooms and or receive the service, but I am sure that its good And niceAlthough when I was there, someone mad a compliant about bugs in the room, and then someone also reported there car stolen and missing

All in all it a good place

Linda Russell

I reserved a room for myself in online I arrived on the correct date around 5:00pm The clerk informed me he was to charge my credit card for the night, that was fine, however he also needed to charge my card $100 for a refundable deposit to cover any damages I may do to the room

I said no, that’s never been done before The lobby was dingy and dark and the exterior was old and shabby I felt the room had to be just as bad I told him I wasn’t going to stay there and he said fine The next morning, after staying at a much nicer hotel, I looked at my credit card charges and the crummy hotel charged my credit card for the room I am not happy and will never stay in a Choice Hotel againBelow is the manager’s response that is incorrect There are two charges on my credit card One that the clerk charged when I stood there and then credited back The second charge was done during the night and there is no credit back I am being charged for the room that I did not stay in because the facilities were so bad

I made reservations on line and somehow my credit card was not working I spoke to someone in the corporate office and they confirmed the reservation When we got to the hotel the front desk person could not find my reservation

After a couple of minutes the front desk person found my reservation and confirmed the room was prepaid He was very friendly and stated that he was new at the hotel I had requested a downstairs room and that is what we got The room was clean and the beds were new It smelled fresh with no odors The continental breakfast was available from 6am to 9am My brother went to breakfast around 7 and said there were muffins, cereal, and doughnuts When I went to check out about 9am there was not much left We enjoyed our short stay as this was just a stopover heading home

Raphael Gomes

Room was dirty and poorly kept/maintained Smelled like the devil’s lettuce everywhere Found fleas in my room

Unfortunately I couldn’t complain because they were the only place that could accommodate my vehicle and trailer combination Good thing I didn’t have my pet with me And the breakfast was some cereals and milkThe pictures look deceiving, but if you look close you can see what I’m talking about

No real complaints except shelving in the shower area would be nice Other than this slight cosmetic oversight, my stay was good The room was spacious, clean and fully stocked

Housekeeping was very nice and attentive The lady at the front desk who checked us in, was also very nice, polite and attentive The breakfast was delicious and I was very pleased to see an meat alternative to pork; turkey sausage patties This was a great choice!

celeste graham

I and my guests had a very good time during my overnight stay It was my birthday and we were celebrating with a pajama party I made the mistake of leaving my carry case in the bathroom with all of my personals in it

And the sweet lady at the front desk went and secured it for me If I had to stay there again I would do it no matter what the cost It’s a great place atmosphere is easy and the food’s not too bad either

Ron Tennant

Night of 12/21/21Bugs bugs bugs!Very unfortunate, hotel staff were nice, breakfast was great, rooms were clean, hotel was very nice and well-kept EXCEPT: for all the BUGS on the walls and ceiling in our room Creepy Crawley feeling all night long

When I explain this to the lady at the desk in the morning told her I would’ve left except my wife and I with two dogs were exhausted from traveling over 800 miles She tried telling me they can’t do anything about the bugs because they aren’t allowed to kill them I call BS on that For the money we paid for one night stay we should not of had to put up with bugs like this The girl at the desk made no attempt to apologize or make any adjustments to the price Therefore we will never stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone out there I keep my dogs in better surroundings than thisI sent an email to the management and requested a reply, no one has gotten back to me which This tells me they don’t really care to resolve this issue Do not stay here until they cure this problem Very unfortunate this could be a very nice stop otherwiseVery disgusted customer

Expensive (for us anyway) but it’s really nice We just had a regular room but it had a sofa which was nice since we had guests for part of the evening The bed was super comfortable

Fire pit out back was lovely Pool was a little cold but on good shape Staff was extremely friendless and helpful And it’s within walking distance of the square

I haven’t stayed at a Marriott property in quite a while, but when I did it was usually at a Courtyard They were NOTHING like this Courtyard! This is a beautiful property and very clean The location was excellent and within walking distance of plenty of things to do or to eat

I was in Carrollton specifically for a wedding at White Crest Farm and will likely have no reason to revisit, but if I did, I’d definitely stay here again

Cons:Very rude people at front desk Pool closed due to “COViD” except pools in all hotels surrounding it was open abs there is no mask policy Felt like that was an excuse
