Always a pleasure going there for the weekend Decided to go Sunday to get a massage with my wife Omar was always great as usual

My wife’s massage was not that good but she said the massage therapist was very friendly and nice It’s almost like a hit and miss with the massage therapists Some are great and some are average For the money you’re paying for the service you would figure they all should be good But I must say that they are all friendly, kind and respectful The spa attendants are always great!!!We also had lunch at the Dune’s beach bar We were seated by Sammy who was very nice We waited about 15 minutes to be attended too and no one came I went to Sammy and mentioned to him that no one has come to serve us, The server who came to us saw us originally but never came to us when we were there Food was great and the service was good after the factDoesn’t change my perspective on the Ritz Will always go there for a nice little getaway Everyone there is always great Look forward to going again soon

It was our first time staying here and had some expectations that were by no means extra-ordinary What we expected was a nice room, friendly service, great amenities, some perks, but all we got was a king size room no larger or better than any other standard hotel, and absolutely nothing else! Service was horrible – housekeeping and food service staff were nice but no one else was helpful or friendly, there are much nicer beaches in Miami to stay at, the restaurants were not appealingTwo things that stood out during our stay- 1

They offered us drinks on arrival so hubby asked for a pepsi and they wouldn’t give him one, said they couldn’t do that? Don’t offer someone a drink then refused to give it to them… very rude and unprofessional 2 When we got to our room, saw the bathroom was dirty so called front desk to request cleaning just for the bathroom I had to request twice and no one came until an hour and half later! We couldn’t use the bathroom or freshen up when we got thereThis hotel is not worth the price or the time, there are better resorts and hotels to have a relaxing, fun stay at, with much more to offer

Gary Meech

Arrived very late/early morning, very tired but the overnight staff and manager where great! Easy and quick check in The lobby was very spacious and clean Elevator kept stopping at each floor on the way to my floor (odd) but room is amazing

View from the balcony is equally amazing Here for a conference but I could see hanging out here for a relaxing weekend

The property is beautiful and in a great location My room was spacious and clean However, the hotel is in need of cosmetic refreshing

The furniture in the lobby is worn, the ceiling vents in the meeting rooms are surrounded by black dirt, and the public bathrooms look “tired” I expected more from a luxury hotel Also, the elevators can be very slow More than once, there were 20 people waiting in line to get on the elevators in the lobby, even though there are six elevators available At one point, hotel staff let us use the service elevator, which was appreciated There were a few times that I had to wait several minutes for an elevator to pick me up on the 24th floor My colleagues said the same thing happened to them I didn’t receive an emailed receipt from the hotel and had to call twice to have one sent to me Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again

Antonio Araujo (Antonimator)

We came to vacation to visit my family that lives in in Miami and decided to stay a hotel for part of the trip This hotel is so nice, the pool is heated and the gym is clean and has brand new equipment The rooms are clean and comfortable

Ralf Assmann

Beautiful rooms The price per night was great Breakfast always including and it was excellent each time

Whether you prefer continental breakfast or a full meal, they have what you need The location was perfect We didn’t have to rent a car Great restaurants were near by When exploring the downtown area, we were able to hop on the metro mover, which was a few steps from the hotel It was FREE of charge and has plenty of stations to get on and off and move around the city My husband and I were already planning our next trip before we even checked out of the hotel

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your stay This site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area

I’ve been coming here for years If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t be let downPlace was great for what it is The entire hotel, including our rooms were extremely clean and the staff were really nice We were here for New Years Eve week so the hotel was packed, but not once did we hear a noise from above, below, or in any surrounding rooms The on-site parking garage was pretty convenient and cost was fair for the area ($28/day at the time we stayed) The free coffee and breakfast wasn’t anything to write home about, but was good for what it was!

Pál Ildikó

The hotel was the perfect choice for our stay in Miami It is situated in an excellent location in the new, modern Brickell area, close to public transport and restaurants The staff was nice and helpful, whenever we had a question/problem, they were always polite and answered/solved it immediately

The rooms are refurbished, clean, spacious and well-equipped with huge and comfortable beds Some of the floors are under refurbishment but we did not hear any noise at all, it did not disturb the guests The breakfast was also exceptional compared to the average American hotel breakfast

This hotel is OLD That’s the main word that comes to mind The rooms are huge, but they’re super sparse

There’s two tiny nightstands that are placed so far from the bed you can reach them There’s a desk that’s got dents and scratches everywhere All of the furniture is this old granite on top of old fake wood The bathroom is old linoleum and plastic There’s nothing on the bathroom counter Not even cups for water or holding your toothbrush The sinks are old and the handles are old There’s even weird liquid dried up on the walls in the bathroomEven the art is dated and the frames look like they live been here for 80 years In addition, they’ve been doing construction in the room above me for hours and no one seems to know when it will stop Tried calling the concierge He got super awkward and told me he’d call me back Never didThe only good thing about this hotel is the view from the rooms That said, you’ve got a great balcony but no chairs or anything on it and there’s not even an extra chair in the room for you to take out there to enjoyThe pool is at the same level as the highway so it’s super loud The chairs are literally falling apart The towels that they provide are just shower towelsLastly, the walls are paper thin I heard every single person that came in last nightI’d probably suggest somewhere else in Miami, this is not a 4 star Hyatt

Bogdan Balajel

Just got here and planing to stay for 8 days It’s nice but not special The reason I am giving this hotel such a bad rating is because they don’t keep that traveler is mind

This hotel is “too good” to have a guest laundry room Too good to provided basic needs for a traveler In the last week I have spent each night at a different hotel ( not one other negative review given) I drove five hours to get here only to be left with a dilemma of if I want to spent 7-15$ per piece of clothing to get washed via the ridiculous dry cleaning laundry service they provide Or get back in my car find a laundry mat and hope I can get it all done before 4 pm tomorrow Imagine if I needed it by 8am or 6 am No time to rest, no time to unwind just panic and uncertainty Not the first vibe any hotel should aspire to create for its guests This hotel is not all one star, but I have given this rating to raise the attention of its superiors to do something about this Let’s make laundry rooms the norm at all hotels And let’s me hotels that have the “I’m too good you” a vibe of the past

Tracy MacMullin

I had a great experience The room I was given was a corner room with floor to ceiling windows and amazing views from every direction I booked a pool view and got a great deal on it

The beds were very comfy, the room was clean, the lobby and hotel decor was beautiful and the staff were curteous and helpful Unfortunately I didn’t get to use the hotel amenities as much as I’d like There were places I wanted to try inside the hotel because to my surprise they had vegan options, but it just didn’t work out because we were so busyThe only downside is that we visited during a busy time so one of the pools (the super nice one with the waterfall and slide) was always so packed that you couldn’t get a lawn chair or any seating etc There was way too many people It would be gross to go into a pool with that many people packed into it as well So unfortunately I was super excited for the pools and didn’t really get to use them It’s Orlando though, there was so much to do that it wasn’t a deal breaker We did use the secondary pool a couple times which was also pretty busy I removed a star due to the pool issuesI’m very happy with my experience here If I’m back in Orlando I will stay here again as long as it’s not during busy season

We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come againIf you’re looking for 5 star luxury and plan to spend most of your trip in your hotel room, then you’re better off in the Ritz Carlton next door If you’re looking for clean, basic but functional rooms that are literally 10 seconds from a 5 star beach, with easy access to restaurants and shops, then this is for you

The service is great too, we had a slight issue with noisy neighbours on arrival and the manager moved us without any fussA great little motel

Jeff White

IF you want to be able to walk out directly from your room and have the ocean right there, a large pool, and an amazing garden with old growth trees and lots of room for your kids to run around this place is amazing There is a super friendly family atmosphere This place is not for people who want a super fancy, expensive hotel

WE have taken our family here three years in a row Our kids love that we can walk to beach, restaurants, and a great public playground We are a family that likes to camp and doesn’t like to waist money on things that don’t improve our life If you are of the same mind set go here If you want expensive, fancy, and snobby then don’t go here Best experience for the price

Yusimy Reyes (Yusi)

I stayed in Room 803 corner room facing the main road The front desk staff was nice and attentive They provided me with suggestions for breakfast, lunch and dinner

The hotel smelled clean the entire time I stayed there The staff was constantly cleaning I LOVED IT!! The room was on the smaller side, but the bathroom more than made up for it I did not have any issues with the hot water I traveled with my 6-year-old son and the only complaint I’d have was the noise (planes, cars, normal sounds you get staying downtown), which isn’t the hotel’s fault Yes, there is a residence next door, but I never felt unsafe, again traveling with my son alone We walked to nearby restaurants, we walked back to the hotel from a Miami Heat game and at no point did I not feel safe Stay here and enjoy yourself!

Scott LaGraize

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a place They compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in this area

I’ve been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few days you definitely won’t be disappointedEveryone at the front desk was very kind with us, especially Isabella she was very sweet and helpful the room was very nice and clean, the buffet breakfast A M A Z I N G so much variety, and the location is very near to everything The only little detail I wasn´t crazy about was the glass wall in the bathroom, you don´t want anybody watching you poop, even though if is your partner!, besides that detail everything was perfect

My wife and I stayed one night before going on our honeymoon cruise the next day Lady at the front was very nice and let us check in early, more happened that I don’t want to say because I’m not sure if she was allowed to do it It was unexpected but also very appreciated, as for the room we stayed in it was clean, had a great view, and the bed was super comfortable

Overall it was a great experience and when we visit Miami again we will definitely be staying here!

Lacy Fuller

Amazing experience We booked the wrong day and Patricia was the best trying to get it fixed for us We chose to stay a second night instead and even though we booked one through the hotel and one through Expedia she was able to get it to the same room

The whole staff is friendly and professional The breakfast is phenomenal They have it set up so you can get delivery to your room for other meals by scanning a code Super easy to use and with 3 kids much better then dragging everyone out The pool was immaculate and we loved the hot tub I would give it a million stars if I could

Kurt Shimala

One night here and it had everything I needed Easy parking, clean room, good bathroom and quiet Planned to go out for breakfast, but we all had a decent breakfast downstairs

Kids loved the mini waffles with chocolate sauce and syrup Muffins were actually pretty good too Didn’t get to try out the pool, but pretty nice little area with string lights on at night

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a 3 night trip and loved our time at this hotel We booked here because it was reasonably priced and weren’t sure what to expect, but it truly went above and beyond for us The outside is very charming and the rooms are very cute as well, and served our vacation’s needs perfectly

Water bottles were provided and the TV has access to streaming services, YouTube, etc Housekeeping did a great job, as our rooms were very well cleaned every day and stocked with toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body soap, body lotion, and some extras) The location is fantastic, it takes just a few minutes to walk to the beach, parks, restaurants, shopping, and anything you could hope to do during your stay in Miami Beach The front desk staff was very kind and accommodating We had to check in late because of our arrival time at the airport, and they made a note of that and waited for us so we could get our room key Beach towels, umbrellas, and chairs are provided by them which was a great extra touch Our flight back home was at night but we had to check out at 11am, and the front desk staff held our luggage for us so we could enjoy the rest of our day and let us change in their bathroom hours later once we had to leave for the airport with no extra charge They were so friendly and it left us with a really good impression of this hotel We had no issues whatsoever, and overall staying here enhanced our vacation We will definitely be back at Villa Italia next time we come to Miami Beach!

Older hotel but I believe they are in the process of renovations Lighting in the rooms need to be updated and brighter especially in the bathroom and entry hallway and closet Although I could see brighter lights would have been better

Also, it would be nice if they cleaned the windows mine were rather dirty The customer service was excellent Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful No matter the time or day front desk was willing and able to engage Great job people!!!

I personally went to the Spa to book a massage for my wife and the attendant looked at her schedule and booked it for 4 pm along with my credit card info About 2 hours later we find out from the attendant that they could not honor our appointment because the masseuse scheduled to do it left to go to a “sister property” They offered to change the reservation for the following day but we would be leaving by then

I explained our displeasure with this and asked why we were not told about this when we booked it the response we received is that their scheduling system does not let them know when the masseuse is scheduled elsewhere! I am completely flabbergasted by this response and cannot help but wonder how a hotel with such a reputation to uphold could run such and AMATEUR operation? Somehow we are considered lesser clients than the sister hotel that we were left for When I asked to speak to the manager we were told by the attendant that he would email us and they also gave us his email to contact him As of now, we have received no contact email from him or any other communication Please understand that I am writing this with no prejudice of this location and no hidden agenda This is totally unacceptable behavior for a place of this category and they need to be called out on this I hope this helps others who are trying to book the same spa Beware!

Sabine Pietri

The room/suite is old and dated ! Very old fashioned and run down … the bar super quiet and bad drinks ; tonight the server told me they have nothing but Chardonnay which I don’t drink and later the other waiter says that’s not true, I got my glass of yummy wine but what a zoo! The pool is not appealing at all in a roof top with fake grass !The bathroom doesn’t even have towel hooks or cabinets to put your clothes away in a suite ! Won’t be back

We stayed here for one night on a Thursday night and had a great time The staff is welcoming and friendly We enjoyed both the bar and the cafe in the morning

The ‘chill room’ upstairs near the pool is really nice It’s walkable to a ton of amazing restaurants! In reference to the music coming from the bar, it is loud as other reviewers have said Our room was one of the closer rooms (right off the lobby by the cafe) but my husband and I always use a white noise app when staying at hotels and we could barely hear the music and slept completely through the night We would definitely stay again!

Deandra Turner

Amazing hotel!!! Very clean with the friendliest staff Louis at the breakfast bar and rubin at the bar were awesome! The bikes provided by the hotel were a big plus as well Breakfast was delicious and the pool area was perfect

Walking distance to everything I will definitely stay here again We liked it so much we even extended our stay an extra day Can’t say enough great things about this hotel and the staff

Completely exceeded my expectations! The staff was so welcoming & accommodating The rooms were clean and quiet The bar was filled with fun and charm

Perfect walking distance to the quiet, empty beach—where chairs and umbrellas were provided The pool, the plants and scenery were beautiful and I 100% intend to rebook in the future!

I’ve had several week long stays with Habitat Brickell by Sextant Tower 1 If the regular luxuries of a hotel aren’t important to you, you’ll be comfortable here The staff members are friendly, and professional, pricing is quite competitive for the area, they offer secure valet, a pool, small gym, and business area

All of the units could use redecorating, but they keep them tidy When I’m on a business trip that’s more than a couple of days, I prefer accommodations that give me access to a full kitchen, and Habitat Brickell’s apartment Style 1/2/3 bedroom accommodations give you access to all the basic amenities of home You’ll even get to enjoy a nice view from the penthouse level’s lounge area You’ll only be a few minutes walk from everything Brickell has to offer; so traveling alone or with family, you’ll surely have a pleasant stay at Habitat Brickell by Sextant

Beautiful hotel lobby!Very nice scent as wellIt was weird to work out the entrance to the hotel at first and definitely not a lot of space with parking and allBut overall I was satisfiedI loved the Rooftop pool and bar area

Although I think they should look for alternative plastic cup solutionsNevertheless view was great and very serenePerfect for a business stayThere was something funky with the elevator not working when descending from the Rooftop to the guest floors so we had to go through the lobbyAlso bed was very hard for my personal tasteSo if you like to sleep soft – that’s not going to be a good fit for youBut I was lucky as I booked it on a tremendous deal so all these issues for the price paid were minor to me, but have I paid full price, probably would have not been very happy 🤷‍♀️

Stayed here in early 2020 Front desk staff was friendly; we were upgraded to a beautiful suite Unfortunately the suites are facing the people mover, making them too loud for a comfortable sleep

We had to ask to be moved again to a normal room not facing the tracksDry cleaning service is slow and they forgot an item Breakfast buffet was complete and delicious! Rooftop bar and pool is large and comfortable and the gym next door is great Overall a nice stay but location hurts the hotel – far from anywhere in Brickell

This hotel is rated 4 stars For that reason, I had high expectations Sadly, my experience did not meet those

Overall, the hotel decor is extremely dated Think miami vice, circa 1980 The rooms felt more recently updated and modern which was nice The bed was comfortable for sleeping but did not feel especially luxuriousThe bathrooms were the most updated, modern feeling with the extra large showers and no tub and quality toiletries, although somewhat small feeling in size The view from the rooftop bar was fantastic although the pool was small We enjoyed sitting there enjoying a drink and watching the sun set Overall, pleasant view, great location and nice but dated feeling hotel I am not certain that it lives up to its 4 star status

This hotel was immaculately clean, extremely modern and quiet I worked from the hotel during my stay, the desks in the rooms made it a perfect work space, I did not even need to use the lights due to an entire wall of our room being windows overlooking the city If you have pets this is a pet friendly hotel, the restaurant located downstairs is a little weird as in you may or may not be serviced but that seems like an entirely separate issue on its own

10/10 would recommend staying here if you are 21+

I don’t know where to start As soon as we pulled in the valet drivers were so quick to help us get situated even before check in Without expected they’ve opened and closed doors for me on many occasions

The front desk workers were so sweet, helpful, attentive, and presentable at all times! Our room was beautiful and the view of the pool overlooking the city was my favorite part of the stay The rooms were cleaned every single day The beds were made after my outings everyday, all of the towels that were dirty were replaced, even down to the hand soap bars were changed and the trash cans that were barely full were empty coming back You can have room service to the room if you aren’t a morning person For the price, location, and accommodations I would highly recommend and come back here every time I am in Miami Super close to shopping centers, and not too out of the way from south beach, a less congested traffic area

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a stay They compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in this area

I’ve been coming here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t be let downThe staff was friendly and diligent Our room was clean and serviced daily The hotel is well located, with easy access to i95; there is also a variety of restaurants and bars about a block away Valet parking service was also great

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at Aloft Brickell All of the staff were extremely friendly and courteous My room was a king with a balcony, which was very spacious for 2 people and I had a small dog with me

There is not pet fee, which was awesome but no designated dog areas so you may have to walk around to find a spot to let your pet out Otherwise our stay was amazing, and we will come again

If you are looking to experience a college like atmosphere, then this is your hotel Upon walking in, the hotel has a very potent fragrance that wasn’t pleasant IMO The rooms are very small and very basic, not what I would hope for from a Marriott property

Next time around, I’ll find another Marriott property or just go with a Hilton as compared to staying here again Of note, the staff at the hotel was great though!

Sharing is caring!
