I got there and there was a smiling woman that greeted us so pleasantly Which meant a lot because we had just left Highlands Inn on Main St In Highlands where the gentleman was rude and lied to me

He said they didn’t do extended stay but the street sign clearly says they do Anyway the lobby was clean and smelt so good It was about 11:30 pm and I rented for a week The room was clean, a little tight but nice When I went to check out at 9 am the same woman with the same smile was there and made me feel very special!I will definitely go back!

Let me start with me planning this trip to visit my other half for our anniversary This hotel was booked in budget to simply proved a place of comfot to sleep while not only he worked but I worked during the day Thursday prior to kicking off our 1yr anniversary in Houston and early Valentines weekend

This  booking was made for a SIMPLE essential stay while preparing our weekend and big stay downtown, no other expectations set One MANDATORY necessity was shuttle service and I booked this reservation under the impression airport shuttle was included (screenshot provided)! When I called to schedule a pick up, I was laughed at and quickly told “NO they do not offer that” I was forced to purchase a Lyft and the cost was $4100 ONE WAY to arrive at this hotel (Reciept provided) At this point I’ve already almost doubled my trip based on FALSE expectations set by FALSE advertising!!!! I arrive at this hotel, walked up to my room, not impressed in the parking lot or strange chafacters looking at me from the balcony I  still pressed on towards my room in semi-good spirits simply excited to shower and sleep At first glance my room seemed decent and even newly renovated, I was ready to cease traveling and pause for a moment after a full day of events and travel I first go to the shower to notice the door does not close nor lock (pictures attached), I start the shower and notice the water stopper is not even connected!! I’m relieved I wasn’t planning on taking a bath and continued to wait for the water to heat up to prepare for a nice shower Not only did the water not reach above 110° but the water pressure was so weak that I felt like I was taking a shower under a sink faucet!! At this point I’m extremely exhausted, beyond frustrated and so is my partner I struggle through the pitiful shower to get “clean” just to lay down in PURE exhaust, hoping for silence The bed looked quite comfortable all though they had 3 small pillows to fit a KING size bed We lay down and get super comfy as the sheets were clean did the bed was as expected Moments later we hear tires screeching, over and over again waking up both up!! ALL night cars/trucks street racing!!! After a night of ZERO sleep and previous exhausting day, the two of us get up at 530AM walk downstairs to the truck to find puke, THICK HUMAN VOMIT, not but a few feet from our truck entry way!! No one wants to start their work day or morning like that!!!! So here we are on the second night of our horrific stay, exhausted, uncomfortable, several hours into our “celebratory pre-weekend”, further out pocket than planned REGRETTING the WHOLE trip, and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE IN SIGHT! This one bad experience set the entire tone for a MONUMENTAL moment in our lives What a dissapointment!!!

The good: Front desk lady was very nice, room was clean and room look newly renovated For the price it’s a good dealThe bad: Pool was green on arrival, they had to shock it due to rain, and it was down most the weekend

They still advertise breakfast but still aren’t serving it due to covid even if their competitors are It’s possible that we just got unlucky The water temperature varies, and the pressure isn’t very goodTLDR: The place looks great and is good for the price point These guys are doing the big stuff right, but fall short on the little stuff, and sometimes it just adds up

Ivan Zuniga

Do not stay here Pool was closed they would not allow to cancel the expedia booking Arrive there and they have no breakfast

The front desk lady was talking over the phone while taking a long time to do the check in When she finally finishes We walk all the way to our room just to find out that the keys or the lock did not work Went all the way back to the front desk and they want to move us to another room When I ask if the ac works Because I don’t want to walk all the way back to another room just to find it is not working And the front desk Karen starts recording me and walks close to me hitting my phone and starts telling us that we could not stay there When we record her she starts threatening about calling the cops Stay away of these place

J Wilson

Booked two rooms over a weekend, and traveled a couple hundred miles to stay 2 hours before check in I get an email that they’ve canceled the reservations When I called to ask about the email, they state they tried to call and when I didn’t answer, they cancel the room

They don’t send an email to confirm, simply an email to say it’s canceled They insult your intelligence and state that times have changed, and if you don’t answer the phone for confirmation they give your room to someone else In 40 years and thousands of nights in hotel rooms, I have never experienced such I had no missed phone calls And then they try to say “you must have put in a wrong phone number That’s your mistake” Room was reserved and held with a credit cardWith a cancelation policy that if you don’t show up, they charge your card What is the point of having that policy if you don’t adhere to it? So needless to say, we are now stuck a long way from home with no room bevmcause their written check in policy is worthless I should have read all the other negative reviews and skipped on past this hotel I guess if you take the risk, be warned that they will say they call when they really don’t and you’ll be stuck with nowhere to stay Oh, and I might add, after being told on the phone that they had no rooms available, I checked online and there were rooms available So they obviously don’t want or need anyone’s business

What a great hotel, rating fits the quality!! Rooms are clean and fresh They have a bar in the lobby, useable pool, workout facility, great breakfast and plenty of parking I really like the decor of the rooms, very up too date and modern

Price is very decent compared to other hotels With I had taken some pics, I really liked my stay here Only down side is limited quality restaurants in the area Quality of hotel seems out of place in this area

Nicole Alexander

The rooms are beautiful The breakfast was great I would have given a five stare but had to keep calling about the remote not working

I stayed in a double room with 5 maximum and had Issues with the front desk giving me the right amount of towels all weekend, which made me mad 😠 Also all front desk employees should know when the Complimentary breakfast ends had a Issue with that on last day of check out

Stopped here on my way to New Orleans from San Antonio The rooms were super clean Breakfast was good and convenient

First time in a while my family and i had breakfast with bacon Wish more low carb options were available Staff was helpful especially the ladies that were servicing the breakfast area Made me feel welcome which is a big plus!!

This was an alright hotel but is over priced for poor hospitality They don’t greet you when you come in the door It’s like you’re invisible

Some of the workers have slight attitudes as well The rooms are a nice size The room doors open all the way up, you have to really close the door The bathroom doors are kind of hard to close At midnight, you have to use the side doors for exit and entry It sticks because sometimes people be sitting out there and you can’t see them until you get up on the, therefore if anything was to happen, who will see it? You can get nicer rooms for a much better price and friendlier workers

brittany seeley

When I checked in, the computer was down and it took forever to check in I get to the room finally and it smells so bad I start checking the room and there is a GIANT roach in the bathtub

Mold on every cabinet and wood surface White powder ont he bottom of the cabinets Half of the lights were burned out and the one that did work flickered I go to the desk to move rooms and the manager is there by now and says my card was never charged They are trying to figure out how to charge me again even though I showed them that it took it off my account already I left and went to a different hotel that was cheaper and way nicer Still need to figure it how to get my money refunded

Donna Sims

Nice and clean Friendly staff at check in, didn’t meet the AM staff Breakfast was Ok

Please be careful with Google Maps It’ll make you get into the next door hotel entrance or make you go aroundPlease go into the entrance right next to Goose Creek CISD Office

This hotel is renovated, safe, clean, with helpful staff Had a surprise kitchenette with the double bed rooms! The only problem was that it was right at the door and not much wiggle room Also, hotel stopped giving scrubbers for cleaning pots and pans since COVID So be creative with the paper towels🤦🤷‍♂️ Overall, we had a great check-in and checkout experience! We’ll surely make a second visit

Katraca Leigh

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel for years and we’ve always loved it and raved about it to friends But this last visit was terrible We reserved two balcony rooms, neither room had a balcony

We walked into one room that had clothes and suitcases all over, they had checked us into someone else’s room! The rooms smelled like weed Our smoke alarm battery was going out and beeped all night The shower door wouldn’t close

Laura Kitchen

Truck was stolen How come there’s no one at the hotel that can assist? The cops are waiting as well for the General Manager to show up The Manager apparently is not showing up and I have to wait til tomorrow! This makes no sense

No one can assist or review cameras If Manager not coming in who’s gonna help? Put yourself in my shoes for a minute

Nice hotel I’d say what made the experience best was the front desk lady,Laura EVERYTIME we came in she greeted us and smiled and was so helpful on helping us immediately if we needed anything or suggestion to a place to eat or visit

We met couple at the hotel and even they agreedI would suggest your other employees being more welcoming and helpful instead of sitting and not greeting with a smile & acting like they don’t want to be there

Aaron Kim

We stayed in this hotel for one week, and it was an unimpressive stayFirst, the service was honestly not the best We asked several times for more towels, toiletries, and other necessities that were not in our room initially

They said that they would deliver them up to our room, but they did not do so It was only after calling them three times in a single day that they finally gave them to us, and they seemed like they were annoyed with our requestsAlso, housekeeping was not done regularly We went in several times to find our room the exact same way that it was when we originally left, and we asked for why our room was not cleaned They said that we put up the do not disturb sign, which we never put up

Mike O

These Hotels are always great how ever at this location in Baytown, TX the service left something to be desiredWe asked the room to be cleaned by the night clerk Then the following morning just to confirm and finding out that we were not on the list to be cleaned

Then later that evening when we returned to the room we find that the shower and the bathroom was not cleaned That same morning I needed cups for coffee and asked the morning clerk And I thought I was ignored so I asked again Thinking she didn’t understand English I asked in Spanish and still was given a blank look Then she began to speak! She was literally having a phone conversation using her ear bud that were covered by her long hair!!

Found this place by accident Our Budget truck stop so this was the closest Days Inn Since college I’ve Been traveling for over 20 years from California to the East Coast; and this is the best Days Inn thus far! I can understand why we can’t bring food out the room, the food is not cheap at all! Customer Service…Awesome! Maintenance…

Awesome! We don’t eat pork but they have packaged breakfast sandwiches, breakfast corn dogs, muffins, buttery waffles, free coffee, OJ, cereal and more! Breakfast is from 6am-9am We love Days Inn and the price is a steal for what we are usually charge They charge almost half the price for what we got Wait! There’s more! Newly remodeled rooms with fridge, microwave, ironing board and beautiful painting over high priced beds Awesome shower and bath with newly marbled tiles My bed at home runs over 2,000, so trust us when we say that you will sleep well Thank God! No I’m not getting paid to write this review, I’m a real person that actually worked In the corporate world as professional quality grader in customer service I am also writing my forth book that will relate to customer service I have also some A commercial on bad customer service So enjoy your stay! They already have “-“Awesome” Reviews along with mine! So what was an accident became a “ram in the bush!” Content Faith (Flow)

Did not mention anything about pets while booking online nor in the signing of room policy until the end where it states “an additional charge of $100 will be added if a pet is found” The night booking agent didn’t know what to do when I asked him to go ahead and charge me because my service dog would be staying with me He called his manager three times and then only offered to cancel my room with no charge

The room was nice but the people were not I do not recommend this place They now have signs posted in the lobby that say “no pets allowed”

I loved this place and really wanted to stay here Forever! 🙂 Was here the 2nd week in Dec The gentleman who checked me in was kind and professional One of the cleanest hotels I have ever seen

I could not find a speck of dust or dirt Even the tile grout in the shower was white and Gleamed! Room was modern and bed was comfortable! I felt confident enough in how clean the floors were that I sometimes walked around the room in socks! That’s the real test Only 70 after taxes They accept dogs Had a comfy armchair in the corner plus a microwave and fridge Glad I found this place! Highly recommend

Joanna Hadley-Biggs

This place is CLEAN! Rooms have been updated Check-,in was quick and easy Staff very polite & helpful

Beds are good It’s a very quiet property A huge bonus to us is that the hotel is right next door to a truck stop,so we were able to drop our trailer there and park the tractor at the hotel They were very accommodating to us,and we so appreciate that I have nothing negative to say about our stay The location is also very close to shopping & dining

Dillon Gautreau

Staying long term(Over 4 weeks for me), and management worked with me to get a room and keep it the entire time through me stay even though they had a extremely busy week over races in the area This helped me out a lot as I was working night shift on this job The room

Kitchenette 2 bed on the second floor Very clean with all the amenities you would get from a furnished apartment Pet friendly with a lot to let our K9 friend run about and do her business When I get work back in the Baytown area I definitely will come back here I recommend this hotel to anyone that’s passing through and looking for a spot that’s close to all the activities that Baytown offers

First, Julia is AWESOME! She’s extremely friendly, welcoming ,& it seems like she truly enjoys her job We first visited Jan 23rd & I called before hand to see if my semi truck & trailer could potentially fit at this hotel & she was very polite During the first stay after being checked in & in the room for hours the hotel key stopped working she was really patient even though we had to go through about 4 keys (thankfully we were on the first floor

Our most recent stay, may 22nd&23rd she made sure we got points instead of breakfast (breakfast is great here not your typical old flavorless hotel breakfast) & the second night we had to unexpectedly return she upgraded our Queens to a King! We love this place it is always clean not even an occasional left over hair! Thanks so much, we’ll be back!

Very clean Comforter and sheets was great

Bed not comfortable Shower not strong and took a while to get soap out of my hair The most aggravating thing about Hilton was we got no room service I stayed at Hilton because I wanted good service but received none Their are alot of nice looking motels in that area I will not be staying at Hilton again

I was passing through Texas on my way to Florida and didn’t know exactly where I would end up stopping to stay the night I decided to try this place based on the great reviews, and I just want to say that it definitely lived up to them Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice, safe, clean place to stay in the area

Friendly, helpful staff too
